We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Accountant to join our team at Digiweave Mediatech. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records and support day-to-day accounting operations. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic digital marketing agency environment.

Key Responsibilities

Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process. Maintain general ledger accounts of all clients. Assist in preparing financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing. Handle petty cash and expense reports. Assist in preparing invoices and tracking payments. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (e.g., GST, TDS). Support with payroll processing and employee reimbursements. Coordinate with the management team to ensure efficient financial operations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field (or pursuing one). Proven experience or internship in accounting roles is a plus. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and MS Office, especially Excel. Basic knowledge of taxation (GST, TDS) and financial regulations. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
