Job Description

Minimum

5-7 years of accounting experience

, preferably in a

construction firm

. Proficiency in

Tally ERP

,

GST filing

, and

finalization of accounts

is

mandatory

. Strong knowledge of

general cost accounting

and day-to-day accounting operations. Experience in preparing

monthly financial statements

including balance sheets, income statements, and profit & loss accounts. Ability to

maintain and reconcile the general ledger

and ensure accurate financial recordkeeping. Responsible for

coding invoices

, setting up new accounts, reconciling accounts, and

closing monthly books

. Performs

monthly bank reconciliations

, verifies deposits, and handles bank-related queries. Reconciles

customer accounts

, manages

accounts receivable

and

collections

efficiently. Verifies and processes

accounts payable

transactions, ensuring correct expense allocation. Coordinates with

external auditors

, providing all required account information and documentation. Supports

data entry, filing, and other back-office accounting tasks

as needed. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines independently.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with

construction project accounting

or job costing. Familiarity with

TDS, GST returns, and compliance filings

. Good communication skills and proficiency in

MS Excel
