The Accountant is responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The role involves analyzing financial data and supporting the financial health and efficiency of the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
Record daily financial transactions and maintain general ledger accounts.
Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).
Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and support tax filing processes.
Monitor and control company expenses.
Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
