Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced

Accountant

to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have previously worked under a Chartered Accountant and possess hands-on experience with

Tally

,

journal entries

, and general accounting practices. This role is vital to ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Bookkeeping & Entries:

Maintain day-to-day accounting records in Tally, including journal entries, sales, purchases, and bank reconciliations. o

Financial Reporting:

Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. o

Taxation Support:

Help with GST filings, TDS calculations, and other statutory compliance. o

Audit Assistance:

Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and data. o

Vendor & Client Management:

Track and manage payables/receivables, issue invoices, and ensure timely collections and payments. o

Reconciliation:

Regularly reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and other financial documents. o

Documentation & Filing:

Maintain organized records of bills, vouchers, contracts, and other financial documents.

Requirements

Experience:

Minimum 2 to 4 years of accounting experience; preference for candidates who have worked under a Chartered Accountant. o

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in

Tally ERP

, MS Excel, and basic accounting software tools. o

Accounting Knowledge:

Strong understanding of journal entries, ledger maintenance, and reconciliation. o

Compliance:

Familiarity with GST, TDS, and other Indian tax regulations. o

Detail-Oriented:

Accuracy in data entry and a methodical approach to financial reporting. o

Communication:

Good written and verbal communication skills. o

Reliability:

Ability to handle sensitive financial information with integrity and confidentiality.
