Job Description

We are seeking a

highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant

with

strong expertise in billing and taxation

to join our team. The ideal candidate must be able to manage complex billing processes, understand project-based documentation, and ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Billing Expertise (Top Priority):

Must have

excellent knowledge of project billing

. Should be able to

understand and interpret RA bills, BOQs, and engineer-generated bills

, and prepare

accurate tax invoices

accordingly. Responsible for

comparing RA bills with BOQs

, ensuring items and quantities are properly matched and billed. Prepare and manage

bills, e-invoices, and tax invoices

accurately and efficiently. Handle

project-specific billing

, including advance taxes and cost allocation across multiple projects. Record and manage accounting transactions in

Tally Prime

, including adjustment and contra entries. Should be well versed with monthly GST workings, including reconciliation and filing of GSTR-2A, GSTR-2B, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-1. Knowledge of

PF and PT

(Professional Tax) compliance. Perform

bank-related tasks

, including reconciliations and transaction coordination. Demonstrate

advanced Excel skills

for data analysis, reporting, and financial modeling. Maintain professional and effective

email communication

with clients, vendors, and Chartered Accountants. Draft clear and well-structured emails and financial correspondence in

fluent English

.

Requirements:

Proficiency in

Tally Prime

and Microsoft

Excel

. Strong understanding of Indian taxation and statutory compliance. Excellent

written and verbal communication

skills in English. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
