Key Responsibilities

Record and classify financial transactions using sound knowledge of debit and credit principles. Apply basic knowledge of TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) sections for compliance and deductions. Understand and manage different GST types (CGST, SGST, IGST) and ensure accurate filings. Accurately calculate tax rates, deductions, and percentages as required. Utilize Tally software to maintain and update financial records. Manage online and net banking platforms for vendor payments, statutory dues, and reconciliations. Handle day-to-day accounting tasks and ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures. Prepare financial statements and internal reports for management review. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, policies, and regulatory requirements. Analyze financial information to recommend improvements in processes and resource usage. Develop, implement, and maintain internal financial controls and standard operating procedures. Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns. Manage all TDS-related activities including calculations, deductions, and return filing. Oversee invoice processing, vendor payments, and maintain vendor account reconciliations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CA Inter or equivalent qualification preferred. 1-5 years of relevant accounting experience. Proficiency in Tally ERP and Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Sound understanding of Indian tax laws, including GST and TDS. Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
