Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires a strong understanding of financial software and accounting principles, as well as the ability to interpret financial data effectively.

Duties

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Perform balance sheet reconciliation and account reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping. Utilize financial software to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency. Interpret financial reports for management, providing insights into the company's financial health. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances between actuals and projections. Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in public accounting or a similar role is highly desirable. Proficiency in accounting software and financial software applications. Strong knowledge of account reconciliation processes and balance sheet management. Familiarity with financial statement preparation and interpretation. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
