Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Ooty. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. You will play a crucial role in supporting the financial health and growth of Hotels. Key Responsibilities are as follows:

Financial Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Financial Reporting:

Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Tax Compliance:

Assist with tax preparation and filing, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

Reconciliations:

Perform bank and other account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.

Data Analysis:

Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Process Improvement:

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Communication:

Communicate financial information clearly and concisely to internal and external stakeholders.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. Experience in accounting. languages Known: Tamil, English and Hindi Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
