Key Responsibilities
Handle day-to-day accounting tasks and maintain updated cashbooks and petty cash.
Regularly assess cash flow and provide weekly updates on payables and receivables.
Communicate frequently with clients and vendors to update them on payments.
Prepare ledgers, Profit & Loss accounts, income statements, and balance sheets.
Audit financial documents to ensure accuracy and maintain confidentiality of financial data.
Suggest financial policies and procedures based on the company's financial status.
Manage company accounts to ensure on-time payments and oversee financial software systems.
Maintain privacy of financial information and perform database backups when required.
Identify and correct discrepancies or inconsistencies in financial documents.
Evaluate accounting software applications and accounting control procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
Strong understanding of bookkeeping, financial statements, and auditing principles
Proficiency in accounting software, especially
Zoho Books
, Tally, or ERP systems
Good MS Excel skills
Strong analytical, numerical, and communication abilities
Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy in financial records
Hindi (preferred)
