Job Description

The Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and supporting the financial health of the organization. They perform key accounting tasks such as preparing financial statements, managing budgets, reconciling bank statements, and overseeing day-to-day financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

3-5 Years Experience Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports. Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in ledgers. Manage accounts payable and receivable. Assist in budgeting and forecasting. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax preparation and audits. Monitor and report on financial performance. Use accounting software to maintain records and generate reports. Provide financial analysis and recommendations for decision-making. Assist with internal controls and process improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus. Proven work experience (3-5 years) as an accountant or in a similar role. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally). Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
