About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage the financial operations of our architectural and construction firm. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in GST filing, invoice preparation, project-based payment scheduling, and online banking operations, along with a solid understanding of day-to-day accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain books of accounts, ledgers, and financial statements.
• Handle GST filing, TDS, and other statutory compliances accurately and on time.
• Prepare invoices, payment schedules, and project-wise cost tracking.
• Manage vendor and client payments, ensuring timely disbursement and collections.
• Perform bank reconciliations, online fund transfers, and maintain transaction records.
• Coordinate with project managers and the procurement team for expense approvals and billing.
• Support management with cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and MIS reports.
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and other external agencies as required.
• Maintain accurate records of petty cash, employee reimbursements, and advances.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and general accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP / QuickBooks / Zoho Books or similar accounting software.
• Excellent skills in MS Excel for financial tracking and reporting.
• Strong understanding of project-based accounting.
• Experience in online banking operations and digital payment platforms.
• Attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills.
• Good communication and coordination ability with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Profile

• Experience working in construction, real estate, or architectural firms.
• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
