With expanding domestic and international operations, LJIO is strengthening its export-import capabilities while maintaining strict financial discipline, compliance, and process transparency.
We are seeking an experienced Accountant with strong expertise in export and import accounting. The ideal candidate must be hands-on, detail-oriented, and fully familiar with statutory compliance and international trade documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Handle end-to-end accounting for export and import transactions
Prepare and verify export/import documentation including invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, BL/AWB, and customs papers
Manage GST, IGST, LUT, and refund processes related to exports
Coordinate with customs agents, freight forwarders, and banks
Maintain accurate records of foreign currency transactions and reconciliation
Ensure compliance with FEMA, RBI, and DGFT regulations
Finalize accounts, manage ledgers, and support audits
Monitor receivables, payables, and bank reconciliations
Requirements
Proven experience in export-import accounting (mandatory)
Strong knowledge of GST, customs procedures, and international trade laws
Proficiency in Tally / accounting software and MS Excel
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and compliance discipline
