Job Description

The role is responsible for managing day-to-day financial and accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, timely closures, and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The position supports audits, budgeting, and ensures strong financial controls across the organization.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting & Reporting



Manage and oversee all financial and accounting transactions of the company. Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings. Prepare and maintain Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss statements, and related schedules. Maintain provisions, accruals, and prepaid expenses accurately. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting principles, standards, and company policies.

Banking & Reconciliations



Monitor bank transactions on a regular basis. Perform timely bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Reconcile inter-branch transactions and ensure proper accounting treatment.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance



Compute, prepare, and file VAT returns within statutory timelines. Track, account for, and facilitate statutory payments such as VAT, municipality tax, utilities, rent, and other government fees. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Sales, Revenue & Receivables Management



Prepare Daily Sales Reports (DSR) and coordinate with Sales and Delivery teams to address discrepancies. Track and follow up on receivables to ensure timely collections. Monitor collections from delivery partners and ensure proper accounting. Account for production commission and sales commission in line with company policies.

Budgeting & Forecasting



Provide inputs and support for budgeting and forecasting activities. Assist management with financial analysis and variance reporting.

Audit & Controls



Support internal audit, statutory audit, and tax audit processes. Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies and procedures to strengthen internal controls.

Other Responsibilities



Perform period-end closures and maintenance of financial schedules. Handle special assignments or ad-hoc tasks as directed by the reporting manager.

Qualifications & Skills (Optional - if needed)



Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting. Experience with VAT and statutory compliance. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Strong analytical, organizational, and coordination skills.
