Job Description

We are a one of the growing travel company based in Ernakulam, specializing in international tour packages, holiday planning, and complete travel solutions. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Accountant to join our team and manage our financial operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle day-to-day accounting tasks including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments. Prepare invoices for customers, vendors, hotels, airlines, and other travel partners. Maintain accurate bookkeeping and financial record-keeping. Reconcile bank accounts, payment gateways, and vendor statements. Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance as per Kerala/India regulations. Prepare monthly financial statements, P&L reports, and assist in budgeting. Manage petty cash, payroll, and expense reports. Work closely with the sales & operations team to update booking-related financial entries. Follow up on outstanding client/vendor payments.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or related field. 1-3 years of accounting experience (experience in the travel industry is an added advantage). Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, etc.). Strong knowledge of GST and Indian tax compliance. Good command of MS Excel. Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
