Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to independently handle the entire accounts and financial operations of our company. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day accounting tasks, ensure financial accuracy, maintain compliance, and support management with timely reports and insights.
Candidates with retail sales experience in showrooms, sanitary markets, or related sectors will be preferred, as this role also involves coordination with sales teams and vendors in retail operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily accounting and bookkeeping operations independently.
Handle bank reconciliations, supplier/vendor payments, and customer receivables.
Record purchases, sales, and expenses in Tally and Zoho Books.
Prepare and file GST returns, invoices, and monthly financial statements.
Manage payroll processing, including employee salary records and statutory deductions.
Maintain and monitor cash flow, petty cash, and ensure proper transaction documentation.
Prepare Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and Stock Reports.
Coordinate with vendors, auditors, and banks for financial operations and compliance.
Ensure timely payment follow-ups, account settlements, and report submissions.
Maintain systematic filing and record-keeping for audits and management review.
Support retail sales operations by reconciling showroom sales, managing daily sales reports, and coordinating with sales teams in showrooms or sanitary market outlets.
Analyze sales and inventory data to provide financial insights for retail performance improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (M.Com preferred).
1-4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with exposure to retail sales environments (showrooms, sanitary markets, or similar sectors).
Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, Excel, and MS Office.
Strong knowledge of GST filing, bank reconciliation, payables & receivables management, and bookkeeping.
Sound understanding of financial statements and statutory compliance.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication, accuracy, and coordination skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
