Job Description

The Experienced Accountant will be responsible for

financial management, strategic reporting, and internal controls

, working alongside our existing team to ensure the academy's fiscal health and support informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Reporting:

Prepare and analyze

monthly and annual financial statements

(P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). Conduct

variance analysis

and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) like batch profitability and fee collection trends.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

Lead the development of the annual

operating budget

and provide regular financial

forecasts

to management.

Internal Controls & Audit:

Develop and enforce

strong internal financial controls and policies

. Coordinate and facilitate internal and external financial

audits

.

Fee Management & Treasury:

Oversee and manage the

Accounts Receivable

function, ensuring efficient and accurate student fee collection and bank reconciliations.

Compliance Support:

Collaborate with the tax team to ensure all financial records are accurate and support timely

statutory compliance

(GST, TDS, etc.).

Qualifications

Experience:

Minimum

3-5 years

of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the education or services sector.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance.

CA/CMA/MBA Finance

preferred.

Skills:

Expertise in

Tally ERP

and

Advanced Excel

(financial modeling, pivot tables). Strong analytical and communication skills.
