Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Accountant with a minimum of 2 years of experience to contribute to the financial success of Craft Interactive Technologies Pvt. Ltd. The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, and it would be advantageous if they have knowledge of ERPNext. Candidates with CA internship experience or a background in Management Information Systems (MIS) will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities:

Financial Recordkeeping:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using ERPNext software. Process day-to-day financial transactions, including invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Month-End Close:

Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements. Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
ERPNext Integration:

Leverage knowledge of ERPNext to streamline accounting processes and ensure data accuracy. Collaborate with the development team to enhance ERPNext functionalities related to finance.
Compliance:

Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and company policies. Assist in the preparation for audits and work closely with auditors.
Financial Analysis:

Provide financial reports and analysis to support decision-making. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records. Prepare financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and statements. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Support internal and external audits and process payroll accurately. Perform year-end account closure, trial balance, reconciliations, and general accounting tasks. Independently manage clients across various industries, preferably with prior audit experience. Assist in process improvements and implement best practices in accounting.

Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields; CA Inter or Master's degree preferred.

Certifications:

Professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are an advantage. Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in similar industries. Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, etc.) and advanced Excel skills. Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills. High attention to detail and accuracy in financial records and reporting.
