The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing reports, maintaining accurate accounting records, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations. This role requires attention to detail, analytical skills, and proficiency in accounting software.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations and bookkeeping.
Prepare and maintain financial statements, ledgers, and reports.
Handle accounts payable and receivable, and perform reconciliations.
Process invoices, payments, and expense claims.
Monitor and manage cash flow and bank transactions.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
Support internal and external audits.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all financial activities.
Provide financial insights to management for decision-making.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience (1-3 years) as an Accountant or similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books).
Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter qualification.
Experience in payroll management and statutory compliance.
