Job Description

Job Summary:



We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Accountant

to manage the financial operations of our interior design/manufacturing firm. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and support management in financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:



Accounting & Bookkeeping

Maintain daily books of accounts (Journal, Ledger, Cash, Bank). Record all financial transactions accurately and timely. Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and vendor bills. Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Financial Reporting

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Maintain MIS reports for management review.

Taxation & Compliance

Handle GST returns, TDS, PF/ESI, and other statutory filings. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies. Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.

Payroll & Expenses

Process employee payroll and reimbursements. Maintain attendance and leave records for payroll accuracy.

Banking & Cash Management

Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash. Monitor cash flow and report liquidity position.

Coordination & Support

Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and clients for payment follow-ups. Support management with financial analysis for project costing and pricing.

Requirements:



Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance (Master's preferred). Proven work experience as an Accountant (preferably in the construction/interior/ manufacturing sector). Proficiency in accounting software (Tally ERP, QuickBooks, or similar). Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance. Excellent analytical and numerical skills. Attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:



Knowledge of cost accounting related to materials, labor, and project expenses. Experience in handling vendor negotiations and client billing. Strong communication skills for coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders. M.Com/B.Com Needed. Male and Female Candidates can apply. Pay: ?240,000.00 - ?300,000.00 per year
