P Learn, a pioneering edtech company specializing in hands-on mathematics learning solutions, is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Accountant to join P Learn's finance team. This role will manage financial operations, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and support our mission-driven educational initiatives. The ideal candidate will maintain accurate financial records, assist with budgeting for educational programs, and prepare bills for shipment.

The job description is as follows:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Process invoices, manage purchase orders, and reconcile bank statements to ensure financial accuracy. Assist in preparing budgets for educational programs. Generate financial reports, such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements, for senior management. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws. Support internal and external audits, maintaining records for transparency and accountability.

Experience:

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in corporate or public accounting.

Education:

B.Com, or a related field in Finance.

Skills:

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, or Zoho Books). Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP). Knowledge of Indian tax regulations.
