Job Description

The Accountant will manage the complete financial operations of the showroom and manufacturing unit, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, timely GST filings, payroll processing, vendor payments, and compliance with statutory norms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Tally and knowledge of retail/manufacturing accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain day-to-day accounts, purchase, and sales entries using Tally ERP. Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements. Handle GST filings, TDS, and statutory compliance. Manage accounts payable and receivable; reconcile vendor and customer ledgers. Oversee payroll preparation and employee reimbursement processes. Monitor petty cash, bank reconciliations, and expense management. Coordinate with external auditors and prepare audit documentation. Track inventory and coordinate with the factory for cost accounting and stock updates. Assist management in budget planning and financial forecasting. Maintain proper documentation and records for taxation and legal compliance.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or Finance (M.Com preferred). 5-7 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or retail environment. Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and GST return filing. Strong knowledge of Indian taxation, especially GST and TDS. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently and support internal stakeholders.
