CRESCENT CONTRACTORS PVT LTD, is a leading Contracting Company in
Ernakulam, Kerala.
The position will lead all day-to-day finance operations . It will hold functional responsibility over accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable. The position will also be responsible for ensuring that the systems and procedures are in place to support effective program implementation and conducting flawless audits.
Activities and Tasks
Manage and monitor the accounting department's daily activities
Set up and enforce proper accounting procedures, rules, and concepts.
Ensure compliance of all accounting processes to that of the organization's goals.
Manage accounting assistants and Provide input into the department's goal- setting process.
Requirements and skills
Proven experience as an accountant preferably in a civil contracting company.
Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
Familiarity with financial statements
Hands-on experience with accounting software package- Tally Erp (Prime)
Advanced MS Excel skills .
Accuracy and attention to detail
B.com degree in Taxation, Finance or relevant subject and minimum 2 to 3years working experience
