Accountant

to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the airline industry and a strong understanding of financial operations and compliance within this sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports in accordance with company policies and accounting standards Perform reconciliations of accounts, including revenue, expenses, and balance sheets Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness Manage airline-specific financial processes such as ticket sales reconciliation, GDS reporting, interline billing, and tax filings (e.g., passenger taxes, airport fees) Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations Ensure compliance with local and international accounting regulations relevant to airline operations Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and sales, for financial reporting and analysis

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Minimum 4 years of accounting experience

, with

at least 2 year in the airline industry

Strong understanding of airline revenue and expense systems, ticketing platforms, and IATA reporting standards Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

CPA or ACCA certification is a plus Experience with airline GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre) and BSP reporting
