- Manage financial accounts, reconciliations, and ensure accuracy of legal firm's financial records.
- Prepare financial statements, budgets, and reports specific to legal operations.
- Handle accounts payable, receivable, client trust accounts, and payroll.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, GST, TDS, and audit requirements relevant to legal services.
- Conduct internal audits, identify discrepancies, and improve financial processes.
- Collaborate with lawyers and management on financial forecasting, billing, and cost management.
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce
-1 to 2 years of experience as an accountant, preferably in a law firm or professional services. -Experience with TDS, GST, and accounting software (Tally/ERP)
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial software.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of Indian accounting standards and legal compliance.
- Understanding of legal billing, client trust accounts, and expense tracking.
