The Accountant is responsible for managing the clinic's financial records, ensuring accuracy, compliance with regulations, and timely reporting. This role supports the clinic's financial health by overseeing daily accounting operations, budgeting, and financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
Process patient billing, insurance payments, and reimbursements in coordination with administrative staff
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Manage payroll processing and related tax filings
Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, tax laws, and internal financial policies
Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting
Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies
Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities
Maintain confidentiality of financial and patient-related information

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proven experience as an Accountant (experience in healthcare or clinic setting preferred)
Knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel
Familiarity with medical billing and insurance processes is an advantage
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
