Accountant
to join our team and help us manage our financial operations with accuracy and efficiency.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive
Accountant
to oversee the daily financial activities of our microbrewery and restaurant. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in hospitality accounting practices, capable of managing multiple tasks, and passionate about maintaining the financial health and compliance of a dynamic business.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Financial Management
Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, ledger entries, and bank reconciliations
Prepare monthly financial reports and statements
Maintain records of all financial transactions in accordance with company policies and regulations
Budgeting & Planning
Assist in budget preparation, cost analysis, and forecasting
Monitor cash flow and manage expense tracking
Support management with financial planning and decision-making insights
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure compliance with tax,GST, and other local financial regulations
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities
Prepare and file tax returns and statutory reports as required
Inventory & Payroll Support
Oversee inventory costing and reconciliation
Assist in payroll processing, staff reimbursement, and statutory deductions
Work closely with the operations team to align financial goals with business performance
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in F&B or hospitality
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar)
Strong knowledge of GST/ TDS,and financial reporting
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
