Job Description

Responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of Storyloom Manufacturing. This includes maintaining books of accounts, handling petty cash, preparing invoices, managing vendor payments, and ensuring accurate financial documentation. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong accounting knowledge and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain daily accounting entries in compliance with standard accounting practices. Manage petty cash transactions and ensure accurate records. Prepare and verify bills, purchase orders, and payment vouchers. Handle vendor and supplier payments, ensuring timely settlements. Record and reconcile bank transactions, expenses, and sales entries. Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and expense reports. Coordinate with the management for budget tracking and cost control. Maintain organized files of invoices, receipts, and supporting documents for audits.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1-2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or garment unit. Strong knowledge of Tally or similar accounting software. Good understanding of GST, invoicing, and reconciliation processes. Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records. Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting.
