We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant with 1-3 years of experience to manage day-to-day accounting activities. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and hands-on experience with Zoho Books.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain daily accounting operations in Zoho Books.
Record, verify, and reconcile financial transactions.
Prepare and maintain books of accounts, ledgers, and journal entries.
Handle accounts payable and receivable.
Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) on time.
Manage TDS compliance: calculation, deduction, return filing.
Reconcile bank statements and vendor/customer accounts.
Assist in preparation of financial statements and MIS reports.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation, and statutory requirements.
Support in audits (statutory, internal, and tax).
Generate financial reports from Zoho Books for management review.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent).
1-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
Proficiency in Zoho Books (must).
Strong knowledge of Accounting, GST, TDS, and Indian taxation laws.
Good MS Excel skills (Pivot, VLOOKUP, reporting).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred:
Experience in handling vendor/customer reconciliations.
Knowledge of payroll accounting and other statutory compliances (PF, ESI) is a plus.
