Maintain accurate books of accounts for daily showroom transactions.
Record sales, purchase, expense, and payment entries in accounting software (Tally/ERP).
Prepare journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
2. Billing & Documentation
Ensure proper billing, invoicing, and voucher preparation.
Handle high-value jewellery transactions with proper KYC documentation.
Ensure accuracy in GST, hallmarking, and other compliance-related bills.
3. Cash & Bank Management
Monitor daily cash collections and deposits.
Reconcile bank accounts, cheque payments, and online transfers.
Maintain petty cash records.
4. Taxation & Compliance
Handle GST returns, TDS, and other statutory filings.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and local tax regulations.
Support audits by providing required financial data and documentation.
5. Inventory & Stock Accounting
Coordinate with store team for stock movement and valuation.
Assist in physical stock audits and reconciliation with accounts.
Maintain records of gold, diamond, and other jewellery stock values.
6. Financial Reporting
Prepare monthly P&L statements, balance sheets, and MIS reports.
Assist management in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Provide financial insights for decision-making.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Qualification:
B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter preferred.
Experience:
2-10 years in accounting (Jewellery/retail industry preferred).
Proficiency in
Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting systems
.
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and financial compliance.
Attention to detail, integrity, and ability to handle high-value transactions.
