Education: Graduate in Commerce

Experience:5+years

Responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of construction projects, from budgeting and cost control to financial reporting and compliance

Financial Planning and Budgeting:

Develop and manage project budgets, working with project managers to ensure cost-effectiveness.

Cost Control and Analysis:

Track all project costs, including labor, materials, and administrative expenses, to prevent cost overruns. Conduct cost analyses and identify areas for potential savings.

Invoice and Payment Processing:

Review and approve contractor bills, process vendor invoices and payments, and handle site petty cash.

Financial Reporting:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, compile financial statements (like balance sheets and profit and loss statements), and generate reports on project financial health for management.

Cash Flow Management:

Monitor cash flow for projects and ensure timely billing and payments.

Compliance and Audits:

Ensure compliance with construction industry accounting standards and regulations, and assist with both internal and external audits. This includes managing documentation for statutory compliances like TDS and GST.

Contract and Risk Management:

Monitor project contracts and change orders to ensure financial terms are adhered to. Analyze financial risks and report any discrepancies to management.

Collaboration:

Work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to provide financial insights and support informed decision-making.

Forecasting:

Predict future financial outcomes for projects.
