Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will gain practical exposure to accounting principles while supporting our day-to-day financial activities.

Qualifications
Education (Required)
? Recent graduates in bachelors degree in commerce (B. Com), Banking and Finance (BAF), Management Studies (BMS) with specialization in Accounts/Finance.
? Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) in Accounts & Finance.
Key Responsibilities
? Assist with daily accounting tasks including data entry, invoice processing, and transaction recording.
? Help maintain and update financial records in accounting software.
? Assist in bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
? Assist with expense report processing and reimbursements.
? Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
? Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.
Must have
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Ability to articulate financial information to stakeholders clearly.
? SSC & HSC: Minimum 80% or above
? Graduation: Minimum CGPA of 8.42 or above
? Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and concepts.
? Proficiency in ledger reconciliation and maintaining general ledger.
? Sound knowledge of journal entries and double-entry bookkeeping.
? Understanding of taxation - both Direct Tax (Income Tax, TDS) and Indirect Tax (GST).
? Strong foundation in accounting standards and procedures.
? Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
Good to have
? Certification or courses in Advanced Tally ERP.
? Advanced Excel certification or demonstrated expertise.
? Advanced Accounting courses or certifications.
? Previous internship or work experience in accounting/finance.
? Familiarity with other accounting software. (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
