Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable

Accountant

to manage the financial operations of our interior design firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting, project-wise costing, vendor payments, and statutory compliance while supporting management with accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain books of accounts including

sales, purchases, receipts, and payments

Handle

project-wise accounting and cost tracking

for interior projects Prepare and manage

client invoices

, payment follow-ups, and receipts Manage

vendor bills

, subcontractor payments, and expense verification Reconcile

bank statements

, cash, and petty cash Ensure compliance with

GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements

Prepare

GST returns, TDS returns

, and coordinate with company CA and auditors Maintain records of

purchase orders, work orders, and contracts

Assist in

budgeting, cash flow management, and MIS reporting

Maintain proper documentation and financial records for all projects
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in

Commerce, Accounting, or Finance

Knowledge of accounting software such as

Tally, Zoho Books, or similar

Strong understanding of

GST, TDS, and Indian accounting standards

Experience with

project-based accounting

is an advantage Proficiency in

MS Excel

(reports, reconciliation, analysis) High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in

interior design, construction, or contracting firms

Knowledge of

inventory and material costing

Familiarity with

vendor management and contract billing
