We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive General Ledger Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing the general ledger, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. This role plays a key part in supporting the month-end close process and providing financial insights to management.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Prepare and post journal entries (accruals, provisions, adjustments, reclassifications).
Reconcile Cash & Bank statements.
Conduct monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
Prepare financial statements as per Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
Manage accounts payable, receivable, funding request, fixed assets, and payroll entries in the GL.
* Support statutory filings including Advance Tax, GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and Income Tax compliance.
