We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage and oversee the daily accounting operations of our hospitality business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting within the restaurant or hospitality industry, with a solid understanding of financial management, cost control, and statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, profit and loss accounts, and balance sheets.
Monitor cash flow, budgets, and expense control to ensure financial stability.
Handle payroll processing, tax filing, and compliance with statutory requirements.
Coordinate with auditors, vendors, and internal teams for smooth financial operations.
Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely reporting of financial transactions.
Support management with financial insights and recommendations for operational efficiency.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Thorough knowledge of GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory regulations.
