Commscope is looking out for an Accountant to join its Finance & Accounts team in Goa!
The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with 0 to 3 years of experience, preferably with hands-on exposure to SAP. The role encompasses key financial processes such as revenue recognition, export compliance, rebate and return management, lease accounting, and audit support. The candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance, accurate financial reporting, and timely management information.

How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

Revenue Recognition -

Ensure accurate revenue reporting, manage cut-offs, and handle customer returns with proper documentation.

Export Compliance & Incentives -

Maintain EDPMS records, reconcile BRCs, and account for RoDTEP and duty drawback incentives.

Distributor Rebate Management -

Administer rebate schemes including accruals, approvals, documentation, and payouts.

Scrap Accounting -

Record and analyze scrap transactions to support cost control and compliance.

Lease Accounting -

Maintain lease schedules, ensure accurate amortization, and reconcile liabilities per accounting standards.

MIS & Financial Reporting -

Prepare weekly/month-end reports with insights on sales, costs, rebates, and returns.

Audit & SOX Compliance -

Support statutory and internal audits, assist in SOX documentation and control testing.

Cross-Functional Coordination -

Collaborate with Sales, Logistics, Legal, and Audit teams to ensure financial accuracy and regulatory adherence.

You Will Excite Us If You Have:

Education & Experience

- Chartered Accountant/ Inter CA with 0-3 years of relevant experience.

Technical Proficiency

- SAP financial module exposure and understanding of export compliance preferred.

Analytical Skills

- Strong problem-solving abilities and financial acumen.

Soft Skills

- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
