Job Summary

We are looking for a careful and reliable Accountant to join our team. In this job, you will manage all our daily financial tasks using Tally software. You will help us keep exact records of our money--what we spend and what we earn. Your work will ensure we follow all tax rules and help our company run smoothly and grow.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all day-to-day accounting entries in Tally (TallyPrime / Tally ERP 9), including sales, purchases, payments, receipts, and journal vouchers. Handle complete GST compliance, including preparing and filing GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B, and performing GSTR-2A/2B reconciliations. Prepare and manage e-invoicing and e-way bills for all product dispatches. Manage all TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) compliance, including calculation, deduction, payment, and preparation of quarterly returns. Perform timely and accurate bank reconciliations (BRS) for all company bank accounts. Manage accounts payable (AP) by processing vendor bills and ensuring timely payments. Manage accounts receivable (AR) by tracking customer invoices and performing regular follow-ups on outstanding payments. Prepare monthly financial reports, including Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, Balance Sheets, and outstanding reports for management. Handle petty cash and maintain records of all daily expenses. Coordinate with the company's Chartered Accountant (CA) for audits, data provision, and finalization of accounts. Use vehicles (both 2-wheeler and 4-wheeler) for company-related work such as bank visits, statutory filings, and other external tasks as required.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

Experience:

A minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in a similar accounting role, with strong, hands-on knowledge of Tally Accounting software (Tally ERP 9 / TallyPrime).

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.

Logistics:

Must own and possess a valid driver's license for both a 2-wheeler and a 4-wheeler.

Technical Skills:

In-depth knowledge of GST regulations (filing, e-invoicing, e-way bills) and TDS compliance.

Software:

Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel.

Personal Skills:

High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Work Ethic:

Ability to work independently and take ownership of the role.

Preferred:

Experience working in a B2B manufacturing company. Familiarity with inventory management modules within Tally.

Success in this role means our financial records are always 100% accurate and up-to-date. You will be successful if:

All Tally entries are completed daily with no backlog or errors. All GST and TDS returns are filed correctly and on time, every single time. Bank reconciliations are completed weekly, and any issues are identified and solved immediately. Management receives clear and timely reports to help them make smart business decisions. You manage vendor payments and customer follow-ups efficiently, helping to maintain a healthy cash flow for the company.
