Job Summary

Continental Engineering is seeking a

dedicated and highly motivated Experienced Accountant

to join our team. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who is ready to take on a key role in our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be a hard worker with a solid foundation in accounting principles and a proven ability to manage complex financial data with precision and integrity.

Responsibilities

Manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. Prepare and publish timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Conduct detailed analysis of financial data and provide strategic insights to management. Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations. Perform bank reconciliations and manage cash flow. Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and comply with company policies and legal requirements. Collaborate with internal teams to support project-based accounting and financial reporting needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 1-5 years of proven experience in an accounting role, preferably within the engineering or construction industry. Strong understanding of accounting standards and procedures. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. CPA certification or progress towards certification is a plus.
