Job Overview
Sheeraj Projects Private Limited is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced
Accountant
to manage day-to-day accounting operations at our Head Office in Gurugram. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, while supporting the finance team in project-based accounting.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain books of accounts in
Tally ERP
or other accounting software.
Handle accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
Prepare and verify invoices, bills, vouchers, and supporting documents.
Monitor and manage petty cash transactions and site-related expense records.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
Assist in preparation and filing of
GST, TDS, and other statutory returns
.
Coordinate with internal teams for project-related cost tracking and MIS reporting.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
Liaise with auditors, vendors, and banks as required.
Support payroll accounting and related reconciliations.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's Degree in
Commerce / Accounting / Finance
.
3-6 years
of accounting experience, preferably in
construction or infrastructure companies
.
Proficiency in
Tally ERP, MS Excel
, and basic accounting software.
Knowledge of
GST, TDS, and Indian Accounting Standards
.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
