(CA Inter or M.Com) to support finance and accounting functions under a government Urban Local Body (ULB) project. This role offers the chance to work directly with government departments and gain exposure to public sector financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with government norms
Assist in budgeting, fund tracking, and utilization reporting
Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and reconciliation statements
Support audits and ensure timely submission of statutory filings
Coordinate with ULB officials and third-party agencies for financial documentation and reviews
Qualifications & Requirements:
CA Inter or M.Com degree required
2-5 years of relevant accounting experience (Freshers will not be considered)
Prior experience in government projects or public finance is an advantage
Good understanding of accounting principles, TDS, GST, and financial compliance
Proficient in MS Excel, Tally, and accounting software
Strong organizational and communication skills
