Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage the company's financial records, ensure accuracy in accounting practices, prepare reports, support management in financial decision-making, and also handle day-to-day purchasing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and journals. Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and reports. Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and vendor payments. Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper cash flow management. Manage payroll processing and employee reimbursements. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare necessary filings. Monitor and control expenses in line with company policies. Assist in audits and coordinate with external auditors as required. Implement and improve accounting systems, processes, and controls.

Purchasing responsibilities:

Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers. Manage purchase orders, vendor payments, and maintain supplier records. Ensure timely procurement of materials and office supplies. Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure best pricing and quality.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role (minimum 3-5 years preferred). Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or ERP systems). Excellent MS Excel skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. High attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and time-management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Experience in vendor management or purchasing will be an added advantage.
