Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee

daily accounting operations

of the jewellery showroom and head office. Manage

sales, purchase, and stock accounting

in coordination with the showroom team. Supervise

billing, cash handling, and reconciliation

of showroom transactions. Prepare

daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports

for management. Ensure proper maintenance of

ledger accounts, vouchers, and entries

. Manage

GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance

including return filing. Reconcile bank accounts and maintain accurate financial records. Coordinate with auditors for year-end finalization and audit requirements. Monitor and control inventory valuation, gold purchase/sales records, and customer advances. Support management in budgeting, cost control, and financial planning.

Key Skills:

Strong knowledge of

Tally ERP / Zoho Books / Accounting Software

Experience in

Jewellery or Gold Loan sector

is

mandatory

Knowledge of

GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Financial Reporting

Excellent analytical and numerical skills Strong communication and leadership abilities Proficiency in

MS Excel and financial analysis tools

Qualifications:

B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification

Minimum 5 years of accounting experience

, with at least

2 years in a jewellery showroom or gold loan firm

Knowledge of

inventory and metal accounting

preferred
