Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to support our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and statutory regulations. The role requires hands-on experience in Tally for bookkeeping and reporting, along with exposure to invoicing, payroll, tax filings, and other financial tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and update accounting records in Tally, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Handle accounts payable and receivable, process invoices, and manage billing operations. Assist in payroll preparation and employee-related financial transactions. Prepare and reconcile bank statements, expense reports, and ledger accounts. Assist in the preparation of financial statements such as balance sheets and profit & loss accounts. Support direct and indirect tax compliance, including GST filings and related documentation Ensure timely and accurate processing of statutory compliance and audits. Monitor daily transactions and assist in month-end and year-end closing activities. Support financial reporting and analysis to management. Coordinate with auditors and internal teams for smooth financial operations. Suggest improvements in accounting processes and systems.

Skills & Qualifications

2 to 3 years of relevant experience in accounting roles. Strong hands-on experience with Tally is mandatory. Good knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and statutory requirements. Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting tools. High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work within deadlines. Good communication and problem-solving skills
