Overview

We are seeking a resource to oversee the company's accounting operations and financial reporting. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting, ensuring timely finalisation of accounts, monitoring cash flow, and preparing accurate financial statements. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting knowledge, analytical skills and the ability to manage end-to-end financial processes.

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)

Manage general accounting functions including ledgers, journal entries, reconciliations, and trial balances. Ensure accurate and timely finalisation of company accounts in compliance with statutory requirements. Prepare and review financial statements including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements. Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure timely payments and collections. Manage and monitor cash flow, forecasting, and working capital requirements. Prepare, track, and review budgets ensuring alignment with business targets. Develop financial forecasts and provide variance analysis at the project/account level. Monitor and maintain accounting records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, external accountants, and other stakeholders for compliance and reporting. Support audit preparation and ensure smooth closure of statutory and internal audits. Identify opportunities for process improvement in accounting, reporting, and financial operations. Ensure adherence to accounting standards, policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and taxation. Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar). Experience or exposure in international accounting for regions such as US, UK, Germany, and the Netherlands is preferred; not all geographies are required. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and financial reporting skills. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal teams, vendors, auditors, and international stakeholders. Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/CPA/ACCA preferred). Minimum 1-3 years of proven experience in accounting and financial management.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
