Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Senior Accountant

to manage the accounting and financial operations of a

group of institutions

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing consolidated financial reporting, inter-company transactions, compliance, budgeting, and internal controls. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work across multiple entities within the group.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Consolidation:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements for the group. Ensure accurate and timely closing of financial records for all entities. Coordinate and reconcile inter-company transactions and balances.

General Ledger & Accounting Oversight:

Maintain and review general ledger accounts across the institutions. Oversee journal entries, accruals, and other financial adjustments. Ensure proper documentation and compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

Support the annual budgeting process and periodic re-forecasting. Analyze financial performance against budgets and prepare variance analysis reports.

Compliance & Audit:

Ensure compliance with local tax laws, accounting standards, and internal policies. Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews. Assist in the preparation of statutory filings and tax returns.

Process Improvement:

Identify areas for process improvement and automation within the accounting function. Support implementation of accounting systems or ERP upgrades.

Team Leadership & Coordination:

Guide and mentor junior accounting staff across the institutions. Collaborate with administrative and operational teams to support financial decision-making.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree preferred). CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent certification is highly desirable. Minimum 5-7 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity or group organization. Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP), financial reporting, and tax regulations. Experience with accounting software/ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics). Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. High level of integrity and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation:
