The Sales & Purchase Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting related to sales, purchases, billing, GST entries, and basic accounting support.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Accounting
Prepare and check sales invoices
Maintain sales register and customer ledgers
Follow up on outstanding payments
Coordinate with sales team for billing details
Purchase Accounting
Enter purchase bills and maintain purchase register
Match purchase invoices with PO & GRN
Maintain supplier ledgers
Assist in vendor payment processing
GST & Compliance
Record GST sales & purchase entries
Assist in GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B)
Maintain proper documentation for audit
Accounts & Reporting
Data entry in accounting software (Tally / ERP)
Bank entry, cash entry & basic reconciliation
Support monthly accounts closing
Maintain files and records
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of
accounts & GST
Experience in
Tally / accounting software
MS Excel (basic to intermediate)
Accuracy and attention to detail
Qualification & Experience
B.Com / M.Com / Accounts background
1-3 years experience preferred
Freshers with practical Tally knowledge can also apply
