Northern Accountants, a Darwin-based accounting firm, is seeking a CA-qualified staff member. Sponsorship is available for the right candidate. The annual salary starts from AUD $74,000.

Qualifications:

Degree in Accounting

CA Certification

(or currently working towards completion). Currently Working - Accounting Firm

Skills and Experience Required:

1-3 years

of experience in

tax preparation, bookkeeping, and accounts management

. Proficiency in

Xero, HandiTax, MYOB, and QuickBooks

. Strong understanding of

accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation

processes.

Excellent communication skills

with a client-focused approach. Ability to

work independently

and manage multiple responsibilities.

Must work from the office location

(remote work is not available).

. Perform

payroll and bookkeeping tasks

Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks

. Oversee

accounts payable and receivable

. Conduct

bank reconciliations

to ensure accurate financial records. Create

Excel spreadsheets

when needed for financial analysis. Liaise directly with the

ATO

through the

Agent Portal

.

Communicate with clients

directly after completing initial training. Perform minimal

administrative tasks

as required.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?4,070,000.00 - ?4,100,000.00 per year
