Patel Mobility LLP, a leading organization in the automobile sector, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling GST, TDS, bank reconciliations, inventory management, purchase & sales entries, petty cash management, and ledger reconciliation with accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
GST Compliance:
->Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns.
->Reconcile GSTR-2A/2B with purchase registers.
->Ensure timely payment and compliance with GST regulations.
TDS Management:
->Deduct and deposit TDS as per statutory requirements.
->Prepare and file TDS returns within prescribed timelines.
->Maintain accurate TDS records and issue Form 16/16A.
Bank Reconciliation
:
->Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.
->Identify and resolve discrepancies in bank statements and company books.
Inventory Management:
->Maintain and reconcile inventory records related to spare parts, vehicles, and accessories.
->Coordinate with stores and service departments for stock verification.
->Monitor inventory valuation and movement for accurate reporting.
Purchase & Sales Entry:
->Record all purchase and sales invoices accurately in the accounting system.
->Verify supporting documents and ensure correct tax treatment.
->Reconcile supplier and customer accounts periodically.
Petty Cash Management:
->Handle day-to-day petty cash transactions and maintain proper records.
->Ensure timely replenishment and expense reporting.
Ledger Reconciliation:
->Reconcile general ledger, vendor, and customer ledgers regularly.
->Identify variances and ensure corrective adjustments.
