who understands the unique dynamics of the jewelry business. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with

Ornate Jewellery Software

and a good understanding of back-office procedures in the jewellery industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update inventory records using

Ornate software

.
Handle day-to-day accounting activities including billing, invoicing, and reconciliation

Manage inventory accounting specific to jewelry items (e.g. gold, diamonds, gemstones) Prepare financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards Coordinate with sales and operations teams to track stock and costing Ensure proper documentation of purchases, sales, and stock adjustments Work closely with auditors, suppliers, and tax consultants Maintain compliance with statutory laws and tax regulations (GST, TDS, etc.)

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA Inter/Final preferred)

Mandatory experience of 5-10 years in the jewelry industry

(retail/wholesale/manufacturing) Solid understanding of accounting principles and stock valuation in precious metals and stones Proficient in accounting ornate software and MS Excel Strong analytical and organizational skills Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy under pressure
