Position: Accountant - Furniture Manufacturing Company

Location: Bangalore

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant (5-7 years) to manage our financial operations and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Handle GST filing and all other tax-related matters (GST, TDS, etc.). Maintain monthly expense statements and prepare financial summaries. Prepare customer quotations and track payment follow-ups. Manage payroll and employee reimbursements. Coordinate with legal and finance counsels on compliance and documentation. Maintain accurate books of accounts in line with statutory and audit requirements. Audit purchases and transportation costs to ensure cost efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

Experience: 5-7 years in accounting, preferably in manufacturing or trading. Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances. Proficiency in Tally (or other accounting software) and MS Excel. Attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work independently. Excellent communication and coordination skills in English; knowledge of Kannada is a plus.
