The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in agency accounting, billing cycles, media invoicing, and financial compliance.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Bookkeeping
Manage day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, payments, receipts, and ledger maintenance.
Maintain accounts payable and receivable, vendor reconciliations, and client invoicing.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Perform bank reconciliation, vendor reconciliation, and client outstanding reports.
Billing & Media Operations Support
Manage client billing, media invoices, credit notes, debit notes, and follow-ups for payment collection.
Coordinate with media buying, account management, and finance teams for campaign and billing alignment.
Maintain accuracy in billing records for ongoing projects, retainer clients, and campaigns.
Compliance & Taxation
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, and other statutory regulations.
Prepare and file GST returns, TDS challans, and vendor statements.
Assist auditors during internal/external audits and year-end closing.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
Prepare MIS reports, cash flow statements, budget tracking, and expense summaries.
Support management in financial planning and cost control.
Vendor, Client & Internal Coordination
Handle vendor documentation and contract renewal process.
Coordinate with internal teams and agencies for billing/cost approvals.
Maintain proper documentation and update accounting systems/ERP.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce / Finance / Accounting (B.Com, M.Com, MBA Finance preferred).
3-5 years of accounting experience (preferably in advertising/creative/media/digital industry).
Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliances.
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, Keka, or similar tools).
Strong analytical and calculation skills.
Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
